The Relay For Life Kuala Lumpur
May 31-June 1 (16 Hour)

This is a high-spirited event here for everyone in the community
can join in the fight against cancer.
It is an overnight team event
filled with fun, relationship and festivities.
We have lots of fun as we complete a relay style walk / run.
On Relay Day, our team members together walking around the track
to ensure that someone is on the track at all times.
They don't sleep that night because cancer never sleeps.

Each Relay For Life starts with the Survivors' Lap,
a testimony to the fact that so many people
today are surviving cancer.
Cancer survivors from the community walk the
first lap around the track to celebrate their victories
while everyone else cheers them on.

The Luminaria Ceremony which happens at dusk
when we honour cancer survivors
and remember those who have died,fight, or survivors of cancer.

A luminaria is a small bag filled with sand holding a small candle.
When the candle is lit, the luminaria casts a warm, golden glow.

Thought the night, there were interesting program entertaining us.
Especially the aqua contest (Beauty Pageant contest) :-D

Finally,around 1130pm i went home~
i feel regret cos i didn't overnite at there..
This program for me quite meaningful,interesting n feel touch
when someone survivors in cancer..
