~> Perhentian Island (2-4 June 2008) <~

Sorry had been so long tell tat our trip story.

Perhentian Isalnd Rocks!
Went there with my closet coursemate,Dorothys,Shawn,Theresa,& Derek.
We were all excited bout the trip even before our final exams ended.
The night before most of us barely slept or slept only about 3 or 4 hours.
We were already wide awake by 430am and headed for fireflyz
to catch the 650am flight.[if i not mistaken]

On Fireflyz Plane~

On arrival at Kota Bahru we noticed that the airport is really small and
they do not have flight connectors so we had to use the stairs to alight.
In airport, we call 2 taxi to bring us to Kuala Besut jetty.
It's a 1 and a half hour trip.
The ride to Perhentian was bumpy.
Literally we were sitting on a 'jumping boat'.
Imagine the powerful motors pushing the boatwith the nose
in the air jumping over the waves.
The ride took about 45 mins.

Man,i love this place so much!

In Speed Boat,on the way go perhentian~

The 3 days & 2 nights holidays were fantastic for us~
I was really amazed when we arrived at the beach.

Finally reached perhentian island~ (my hair a bit messy)

The water was cystal clear.Woah!

You can even see fishes swimming down there.
Checked in at Flora Bay Chalet and had lunch - a heavy one provided
as part of ur packcage. It was a complete meal! Delicious food!

Later we head back to the boat with our gears for snorkelling!
Since the water there is so clear, snorkelling activity is irresistible!
It’s a waste if you come here but didn’t go for snorkelling.

Ah Tan– our snorkelling trip leader was a really
cool,joker,& kind-hearted man.
He took us to many different places to enjoy the different
fascinating views from shallow, medium, deep sea.
This experience was unexplainable. The view of marine park
down there was so beautiful, spectacular and fabulous. Indeed!

Giant Turtles!!! I was just a few metres away from the giant turtles.

Our guide tried to bring them nearer
but instead they tried to run away from us, hahaha.
This is the first time i'm swimming with turtles.
Giant brownish coloured turtles! Amazing!
I did found Nemo and his family! They are so cute small little clown fish.
I found them playing around the seaweed.
All of them quickly hiding behind the seaweed.

Just before sun set we left the place.
The sea was extremely calm after rough waves through out the day.
Dinner time was awesome. Dinner was BBQ themed and is a buffet
they fried many fishes,lots of delicious sotongs,
BBQ sausages, BBQ chicken and also fruits plus desert for the everyone.
Dinner was great!

We had our final stroll along the beach on that night,
counting the stars together and make some funny shadow of ourselves

It's our last day lo~i'm gonna miss perhentian so much!
I miss everything back in Perhentian.
The people, the beach, the water, the experience, and everything la.

Tired.Goodbye Kota Bahru!

After we filled up our stomach we headed straight to the airport
with our van speeding like mad!
Finally arrived in wet wet KL at about 4pm. It was raining heavily.
Back in Sri Petaling at around 5pm .
The end of a perfect holiday ~ Looking forward to more holidays.
